Pokrovka (is pronounced "Pakrovka" is the capital of the Manas District of Talas Oblast, Kyrgyzstan. It is located on the Talas River, 5 km north of the Kapka Dam (former Kirov dam). 30 km from the Zhambyl (Oluyaata) railway station (Kazakhstan). The village was founded in 1874. Population 7.4 thousand (2009). A monument to the victims of the Great Patriotic War was erected.

The surrounding landscape is pristine lake around this place, there are faces of Turkic on stone, preserved since the heyday of the Turkic Khaganate they mistakenly called balbals. These are statues real ancestors installed in their places of burial.
Taragay the river is the union of the Kumtor River and Arabel Suu. She then takes the name of Naryn river when she meets the Karasay.
The Song Kul range covers the North of the Song Kul's lake and culmines at 3650 meter altitude.
