Pakrovka

Pokrovka (is pronounced "Pakrovka" is the capital of the Manas District of Talas Oblast, Kyrgyzstan. It is located on the Talas River, 5 km north of the Kapka Dam (former Kirov dam). 30 km from the Zhambyl (Oluyaata) railway station (Kazakhstan). The village was founded in 1874. Population 7.4 thousand (2009). A monument to the victims of the Great Patriotic War was erected.

Utch Kochkon valley

This valley lies on the southern flank of the Ak-Shyyrak mountain range. In Soviet times there was an important center for geologists. Today, hardly any ruins remain, and the place is rarely visited by travelers. The animal life is very wild, and you will undoubtedly see herds of Marco Polo or Ibex.

Tulpar Tash (Song Kul)

Tulpar Tash is situated north west part of Son Kul, jailoo of nomads from Kyzart region. This is one of the most beautiful places of Son Kul.  Transparent shiny surface of the lake can be seen from away. The surrounding landscape is pristine lake around this place, there are faces of Turkic on stone, preserved since the heyday of the Turkic Khaganate they mistakenly called balbals. These are statues real ancestors installed in their places of burial.
