Chong Kyzyl Suu meteo station

The geophysical station in the valley of Chong Kyzyl-Suu was built in 1948 by Germans, who have been captured in Kyrgyzstan. At that time, there was no way for cars to get to the station, so they had to transport all building materials on camels. 
The purpose of the station was already then to observe the glaciers, mountains and the animal world. There worked hydrologists and geomorphologists from many different nations.

Chong Kemin

The population of Chong Kemin is devided in 6 small villages. Novorossiika is the main one with Town hall, hospital and school. Others one are Tegirmenti, Tar Suu, Kalmak-Ashuu, Kaïndy and Karool-Debe where are situated our homestays.

Barskoon waterfall

About the Barskoon Waterfall
Barskoon waterfall is a geological protected area located in Jeti-Oguz District of Issyk Kul Province of Kyrgyzstan in 90 km to the south-west of Karakol on one of the tributaries of Barskaun River. It was established in 1975. Within the Barskoon valley there are two waterfalls on top of the mountain and the mountainside. At the foot of the mountain you can enjoy the beautiful river of Barskoon. During the summer time there yurts built. At the yurt you try Kyrgyz traditional drink Kymys while enjoying the beauty of the landscape Why you should go there?

Ak-Shyyrak village

Losted village at the end of the road A364 starting from Barskoon. The linked road from Ak-Shirak village to Enilchek village never was finished. Ak-Shirak is now a hamlet, and officially bringing together dozens of farms within a radius of 100 km. 

Uzgen

Uzgen is a large village on the main road between Jalal Abad and Osh. The modern city of Uzgen is located on the territory of ancient site. Ancient settlement of Uzgen is rich of monuments of settled and nomadic people, dated in a wide chronological range. It belongs to a zone of early contacts on the Silk Road, being the most eastern city centre of Davan, as the city of Ju-chen known on Chinese sources is traditionally localised here in a context of military expeditions of 104-99 BC. Citadel and Shakhristans have been preserved relatively.

Tuz-Kol dead lake

This lake is salty and the result of the decrease in the level of Lake Issyk Kul. The sludge from the lake are used to treat the skin problems. It is located about 300 meters from Lake Issyk Kul. Access is via the village of Kyzyl Tuu.

Tulpar-Kol lake

Lakes Tulpar Koel is a collection of several small lakes at the foot of Lenin Peak. Our eco-tourism partners set up their yurts during the summer and invite travelers to their home. This place offers several day trips on foot or on horseback. In winter, ski-touring expedition, horseriding and hiking are still possible to organize.
