This Museum used to be called the Lenin Museum and it was opened in 1926. The ground floor houses temporary exhibits but the permanent exhibits depict the natural and political history of the country and the Soviet heritage.

The Kekemeren is the biggest river tributary of the Naryn river. The Suusamyr and the West Karakol river flow into the Kekemeren at the altitude of 2030 meters, near the village of Kojomkul and 3 kilomètres before the Kekemeren's canyon. The river is situated between the Suusamyr and the Djumgal ranges is about 130 km long till the Naryn confluence.
The Chong Kemin River (Kyrgyz: Чоң Кемин дарыясы) is a main river in Kemin District of Chuy Province of Kyrgyzstan. It is rising in the Zailiiski range (marking the border beetween Kazakshtan and Kyrgyzstan) and the Kungey range, and is a right tributary of the Chu River in Boom Gorge. The river is protected by status of the National park of Chong Kemin.
It has a length of 116 kilometres with a basin area of 1,890 square kilometres.
