Tuz Ashuu (Song Kul)

North part of Song Kul's lake. Translated from the Kyrgyz means “Straight Pass” In summer it is a real paradise for nomads and livestock. In addition to traditional countless flocks of sheep, goats, cows and horses, we can see also yaks.

Batay Aral (Song Kul)

Vibrant with life, lush with mountain scenery, the resrve of Batay Aral are yours discover. On the shores of the lake do not grow tall trees, spruce, fir, but only here you will be able to please the eye immense heaps of edelweises (the Red Book), as well as a great many other bright, elegant and sometimes vey rare flowers. These floral oasis above are moving in the alpine meadows. In addition, the shore of the lake is home of 66 species of waterfowl, which are usually held here from May to September.

Tamga

This is a small village on the South shore of the Issyk Kul lake. It was developped with the construction of a military sanatorium during soviet times, planes from Russia were landing on the small airport. 3 stones with buddhist inscription from 8th and 9th century show that people were living there long time ago. Around 1860, Russian colon populated this village, following by Tatars of Kazan in 1916. Now the village is populated by Kyrgyz.

Ak-Tash Mountain Ski Base

Small ski resort in the Orussay valley with all conveniences. One of the freeride resort of Kyrgyzstan. The small hotel at the base of the slope and its restaurant are open the all-year-around. You can be lifted or you may enjoy ski-touring also. Some skis and snowboard can be rented at the resort.

Zil Ski Resort

This ski resort is one of the most popular in Kyrgyzstan. It is open every day in winter season and you may find slopes of any level. The resort is situated 35 km far from Bishkek city, 1850 m above sea level. There are 8 equipped parkings with more than 700 parking places.

Too-Ashuu Ski Resort

The newly ski resort was build on the top of slopes at the altitude of 3000 meters. The main slope is ideal for beginners, but ski lovers will find another slope on the East-side of the mountain. As the slope cover only a small part of the mountain, you will find many freeride possibilities. Usually the season begin end of October and finish in April. The snow-cover is one of the most important, and can reach 2 meters during good winter.
